Place Stanislas - Nancy

monumental tour sets up its turntables on europe's most beautiful square

The Monumental Tour set down its decks on Nancy's Place Stanislas, an exceptional date marking the opening of the European Heritage Days. It also marked the 40th anniversary of the inclusion of Place Stanislas, Place de la Carrière and Place d'Alliance in the UNESCO World Heritage List. Over 20,000 people attended the event.

During the event, Michael Canitrot presented an electro set accompanied by a spectacular 270° light, laser and video-mapping show, created in collaboration with the AV Extended collective.

The show plunged the audience into an immersive atmosphere, blending history, digital imagination and contemporary art.

The evening also featured a number of special guests, including Awen, the electronic scene's leading female vocalist and author of the hit single "Your Voice", as well as opening acts Leblanc and Gatz. The Monumental Tour also sends a message about the importance of preserving our heritage. For this special edition, participants were invited to contribute freely to the restoration of the central balcony of the Hôtel de Ville on Place Stanislas.
