The Monumental Tour imagined an exceptional concert at the heart of the main courtyard of the Château Royal de Blois. During the event, Michael Canitrot presented an electro set accompanied by a 180° light, laser and video-mapping show, created in collaboration with the AV Extended collective.
The show plunged the audience into an immersive atmosphere, fusing history, digital imagination and contemporary art. Michael Canitrot showcased two emerging artists, Avtel and Mystery Kid, who opened the show.
A special guest also joined the party: producer Pedro Winter, icon of the French electronic scene and founder of the famous Ed Banger label. The audience was given a new perspective on the château's singular architecture, characterized by its four wings, a unique example of the evolution of French style from the 13th to the 17th century.
The Monumental Tour also conveys a message about the importance of preserving our heritage. Each ticket purchased contributed in part to the renovation of an identified work in need of restoration: the statue "Jeune pêcheur dansant la tarentelle" ("Young fisherman dancing tarantella"). This project was carried out in collaboration with the association of Friends of the Château and Museums of Blois.
