After France, Portugal and Italy, the Monumental Tour made a stopover in Spain with its first edition in the city of Zaragoza. Zaragoza's mayor, Natalia Chueca, presented this historic event as a major step towards strengthening the city's position in European culture. The Monumental Tour, an immersive visual and musical experience led by French DJ and producer Michael Canitrot, was held in the iconic Plaza del Pilar on October 25, 2024.

More than 45,000 spectators gathered to witness this ground-breaking concert in front of the majestic Basilica del Pilar. Measuring 130 meters long, 76 meters wide and with four towers culminating at 92 meters, this true jewel of Spanish architecture was showcased in an exceptional way thanks to monumental visual projections and the electronic sounds of Michael Canitrot.

For the occasion, the project's creator was accompanied by two Spanish artists: Ms Von Disko, a promising talent from Saragossa, and David Penn, an internationally renowned DJ and producer.

The event was well attended, with the city's accommodation sold out to welcome tourists from all over Spain and other European countries. Ms. Chueca emphasized that this initiative highlights Zaragoza's unique role on the European cultural map. She also said that the event served as a showcase to demonstrate the city's ability to host world-class cultural productions, thus enhancing its tourism and cultural prestige.
